Number Duel is a mobile game developed by Georgios Koutoulas.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Number Duel may collect, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
Number Duel is designed to collect only the information needed to run the game, online features, leaderboards, ads, and app settings.
The app may collect or store:
- Player name or display name
- Google Play Games profile information used by the game, such as player display name and player ID
- Game scores, leaderboard results, ELO rating, wins, losses, selected avatar style, difficulty level, number of guesses, and game mode
- Online match information, such as invite codes, player names, selected difficulty, guesses, match status, and temporary hidden numbers used to run the match
- App settings, such as sound and volume preferences
- Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data through Google AdMob
- Purchase and subscription status, product ID, order ID, entitlement status, and expiry information needed to verify and restore Google Play purchases
- Basic device, app, diagnostics, crash, performance, integrity, and usage data processed through Google services, Firebase Crashlytics, or other app service providers
We do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, messages, photos, files, or precise location.
How We Use Information
- Show your player name in the game
- Save and display scores and leaderboard rankings
- Create and join online matches
- Support Google Play Games sign-in
- Show ads and measure ad performance
- Remember app settings
- Improve gameplay, stability, security, and app performance
- Respond to support requests
Local Data
Some data, such as player name, sound settings, verified entitlement state, and local leaderboard scores, may be stored directly on your device.
You can remove local data by clearing the app data from your device settings or uninstalling the app.
Online Gameplay and Leaderboards
If online features are enabled, Number Duel may store gameplay, profile, ranking, and leaderboard information in Supabase. This may include player names, selected avatar style, ELO rating, wins, losses, scores, invite codes, match status, guesses, and temporary hidden numbers used during online matches.
Online leaderboard and match data may be visible to other players where needed for gameplay, matchmaking, rankings, or joining a room with an invite code.
Ads
Number Duel uses Google AdMob to show ads, including ads after games. Google AdMob may collect and process advertising identifiers, device information, app activity, approximate location, diagnostics, and ad interaction data in order to provide, measure, and improve ads.
You can manage advertising personalization and reset or delete your advertising ID through your Android device settings where available.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. Number Duel does not receive or store your payment card or bank details.
To unlock paid features, restore purchases, and prevent fraud, Number Duel verifies purchases through the Google Play Developer API and stores limited purchase records such as product ID, order ID, purchase token, purchase status, acknowledgement status, and subscription expiry. Purchase records are linked to the player's Play Games ID and are not displayed publicly.
Third-Party Services
Number Duel may use the following third-party services:
- Google Play Games Services, for sign-in and player profile features
- Google AdMob, for advertising and ad measurement
- Google Play Billing and Google Play Developer API, for purchases, subscriptions, restoration, and fraud prevention
- Google Play Integrity, for app and device integrity checks
- Firebase Crashlytics, for crash and diagnostic reporting
- Supabase, for online leaderboards and online match backend functionality
These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share data only when necessary to provide game features, operate online gameplay, show and measure ads, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect the security of the app.
Third-party services listed above may process data as service providers or according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Children
Number Duel is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and remove it if necessary.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information used by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your Choices
- Play without creating a separate email or password account
- Play offline without a Number Duel email/password account
- Clear local app data from your device settings
- Manage ad personalization and advertising ID settings from your Android device settings where available
- Contact us to ask questions about your data
Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Number Duel cloud profile and associated data from the account deletion option inside the app or by emailing info@numberduel.app with the subject Number Duel account deletion.
Cloud deletion includes the player profile, saved avatar, ELO and gameplay history, matchmaking records, cloud sessions, and verified entitlement records linked to the Play Games player ID. Local data can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Deleting Number Duel data does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Google Play. Limited records may be retained only where required for legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.
Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
Online leaderboard, match, and purchase verification data remain stored while needed to provide the game, maintain rankings, restore purchases, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. Data associated with a cloud profile is deleted following a verified deletion request, except for limited records that must be retained for legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
